What is Soul Tikkun?

People type “what is Soul Tikkun” after a phrase lands in a reel and then vanishes. The Hebrew word is older than social media. At Aurora Tikun it is not a slogan. It is a written map of the pattern you keep meeting — and a correction you can actually do this month.

Where the word comes from

Tikkun means repair, restoration, setting something back in order. In Lurianic Kabbalah the cosmos itself is described as shattered vessels whose sparks wait to be gathered. Popular English borrowed Tikkun Olam — repair of the world — and often stopped there, as if the only job were charity slogans.

The personal layer is quieter. A soul arrives with a specific knot: a way of abandoning, of over-giving, of freezing when love gets close, of chasing status that never fills. The knot is not random. In this school it is the curriculum. Soul Tikkun names that curriculum without turning it into a Hollywood past-life script.

When people usually ask

Language: you order English or Spanish. This article is the English explanation of the English product. Mixing languages inside one PDF is possible if you ask on WhatsApp; it is not the default because mixed pages are harder to reread a year later.

What “practice” means here

Correction is not a vision quest you have to book in another country. Most Tikkun homework looks like this: one conversation you have avoided, one weekly hour without performing competence, one prayer or letter you do not post. The reading names which of those is yours. It does not assign all of them.

If you already have a therapist, keep them. Tell the PDF to sit beside that work, not on top of it. If a practice collides with a clinical treatment plan, the treatment plan wins.
