Glossary: the words we use in your readings
The same words that appear in your PDF, explained in two or three lines. If something is still unclear, write to us and we will add it.
- Tikkun
- Hebrew for «correction». In Kabbalah it is the work of repairing what the soul left unfinished: not punishment, but adjustment. The core of the Soul Tikkun reading.
- Kabbalah
- Jewish mystical tradition that studies the Tree of Life and the link between the divine and the human. Used here as a frame of meaning, never as a substitute for medical or psychological care.
- Natal chart
- A snapshot of the sky at the minute you were born: Sun, Moon, planets, the 12 houses and the aspects between them. Without a birth time it loses precision in houses and Ascendant.
- Ascendant
- The sign rising on the eastern horizon when you were born. It depends on the exact time and describes how you enter the world.
- Houses
- The twelve divisions of the sky that map the areas of life: money, family, work, partnership, health. They shift with your birth time.
- Aspect
- The angle between two planets in your chart (conjunction, trine, square, opposition). It shows how two parts of you get along.
- Transit
- Where the planets are today compared with your natal chart. It explains the «why now» behind what you are living.
- Synastry
- Two natal charts compared to see the chemistry and the friction between two people. It is the base of the compatibility reading.
- Astrocartography
- A world map of your planetary lines. It points to the places that activate love, work or roots.
- Pythagorean numerology
- A system that turns your name and birth date into numbers (life path, destiny, soul) to read your cycles.
- Swiss ephemerides
- A high-precision astronomical table (Swiss Ephemeris) with the real position of the planets for a date and time. It is what computes your chart: that part is astronomy, not divination.
- Retrograde
- An apparent period when a planet seems to walk backwards as seen from Earth. Not a cosmic punishment: it reads as time to review and correct.
