Where to live according to your natal chart

“Where should I live according to my natal chart” is a fair question if you already have a passport problem, a remote job, or a city that makes your chest tight. It is a bad question if you want a planet to replace a budget.

What a line actually is

On your natal chart a planet has a longitude. On Earth there are places where, at your birth moment, that planet was on the Ascendant, Descendant, Midheaven, or IC. Draw those loci and you get Jim Lewis-style astrocartography lines. Live near a Venus-MC line and the public story of “what I am known for” may taste more Venusian. Live on Saturn-IC and home life may feel like apprenticeship.

Distance matters. A line through the historic center is not the same as “the whole state.” We talk in kilometers of orb, not in vibes.

Parans and local space are extra techniques. The paid PDF states what it used. It does not dump every method to look expensive.

Mexico without postcard magic

English blogs love Paris and Bali. Our clients often ask CDMX versus Guadalajara versus a smaller Pacific town. Pollution, altitude, family density, and security are not in the ephemeris. A Mars line in a city you cannot afford is still a city you cannot afford.

Guadalajara (this studio) is not automatically “your power place” because we work here. If your chart is loud on a Caribbean line, we will say so even if we never set foot there this year.

United States and Canada lines show up for dual-nationals and remote workers. Visa law is not astrology. We will not write “just move” as if ICE were a transit.

Data you must have

Birth time. Place. Date. Without time, skip this product or read it as a sketch. We would rather refund the idea than sell a pretty map of wrong angles.

Also send the shortlist of cities you can actually live in. A reading that names Reykjavík when your Spanish-speaking mother needs you in León is a decorative PDF.

How to use a reading

Use it to rank three realistic options, not to outsource your life. Visit if you can. Notice sleep, money, and whether you make one friend. Then read the line names as climate, not commandment.

Visit protocol (unglamorous)

If a line looks promising, spend three nights if you can, not three hours in an airport mall. Sleep is data. So is grocery-store irritation. So is whether you speak to a stranger without performing.

Write three scores from 1 to 5: body, money-stress, conversation. Compare to your current city with the same scores. Astrology that cannot beat a notebook is decoration.

Remote workers: a Venus line does not pay USD into a Mexican account. Tax residency is a lawyer. This PDF is not that lawyer.

Family, care, and the IC

IC lines talk about home, roots, the private floor of the chart. Moving to an IC-heavy city because a blog said “healing” can mean you moved closer to a family pattern you had finally put at a distance. Sometimes that is the work. Sometimes it is a relapse. We will say which way the chart leans. You still have a vote.

If you are the caregiver for someone who cannot move, relocational astrology becomes a map of visits and of inner relocation (how you arrange the room you already pay for). That is less sexy. It is more honest.

A note on named cities

We can discuss CDMX, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Puebla, Mérida, Tijuana, Oaxaca, and common US landing cities (Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Houston, Miami) because clients actually go there. We will not invent a “secret village” to sound shamanic. If your shortlist is two towns in Jalisco, send those two towns.

Altitude, heat, and water quality do not appear in Swiss Ephemeris. Mention health constraints in the notes so the prose does not cheerlead a desert for someone who was told to avoid dry air.

Power place, in this house, means a place where your effort compounds. It does not mean a place that makes you photogenic. If you need photogenic, hire a photographer in the city you already inhabit.

One more limit: we do not do cursed-land talk. If a city has a violence problem, that is news and policy, not a Pluto aesthetic. Astrology that ignores the news is a hobby. You can have a hobby. Do not use it as a moving company.

Saturn lines without self-punishment

English internet treats Saturn like a villain. A Saturn-MC city can be where you finally finish a craft. It can also be where you collect bosses who sound like your father. The PDF will try to say which flavor is more likely given the rest of the natal. You still choose whether you want apprenticeship this decade.

If you are already exhausted, do not pick Saturn as a personality rebrand. Exhaustion plus Saturn is just more unpaid labor. Rest is allowed even when a line looks “karmically correct.”

Neptune and the scam climate

Neptune lines can mean art, ocean, medicine, devotion — and also contracts you did not read. If your shortlist includes a city famous for spiritual tourism, we will say so in dry language. Dry language is a safety feature.

Bring a friend to lease signings. Astrology does not replace a lawyer or a locksmith.

Airports lie. Many people feel magical in arrivals halls because they are not answering email. Test the city on a Tuesday afternoon in traffic. If the line still holds, then we can talk about leases.

Couples: two charts mean two maps. A city that gilds one partner’s Sun can sit on the other’s Saturn. The PDF can rank compromise cities. It cannot make both of you extraverted on command.

Return trips matter more than first trips. The first visit is adrenaline. The second visit is whether you can buy detergent without a speech about your destiny. If the second visit still fits the line, then we talk about leases, pets, and the aunt who needs you on Sundays.

If you cannot visit, use neighborhoods you already know in your current city as a control group. A “power place” that only works in theory is a screensaver.

Money of moving is a chart too, just not a natal one. Deposits, flights, lost wages, the month you cannot work because you are waiting for internet. If a Jupiter line requires a debt you cannot service, it is not a Jupiter line in practice. Say the budget in the notes. We will rank cities inside that fence.
